Goodie Gift Bag for Teachers

by Marie LeBaron

Hi everyone! It's Marie from Make and Takes. I'm sharing a back to school craft to make and gift to your child's teacher. We're making a handmade felt goodie bag to gift to our teacher on the first day of school!

Supplies for Goodie Gift Bag:

  • Felt
  • Scissors
  • Tacky glue
  • Goodies for teacher : candy, pencils, gift card, etc.

How-to:

1. Cut out a piece of felt to make a long rectangle, our piece was 4-1/2 x 12 inches. If you buy a small sheet of felt, cut it in half vertically.

2. Add glue to both long sides of your felt and fold your piece in half. Press down and let this dry. You should have one opening at the top of your felt piece. If you'd like, you can glue different shapes onto the front of your felt piece as well.

3. Once the glue is dry, you can add in your goodies for teacher.

Fill up your new goodie bag with treats and gift it to your child's teacher on the first day of class. They'll be sure to love it!
