Kids Kitchen: Halloween Monster Snacks

by Jennifer McLaughlin

These monster inspired snacks are healthy and easy, yet creative recipes that you and the kids can work on together. Whether you are making a few for the house or for an entire class at school, team up to make the process go smoothly!

1. Tombstone Sandwiches

Easy to make, just cut the bread into tombstone shapes! Use Salami sliced into thin strips to form the RIP letters and use your favorite meats and cheese for the filling!

2. Monster Mouths

Take a sliced apple, marshmallows, peanut butter and make a monster mouth! These are so simple but so fun! We added sunflower seeds to one mouth to make it a little more "monster-y", but raisins or dried cranberries would be extra spooky too!
