Puffy chalk paint is a must-try, summer activity to do with your kids. This easy, fun, cheap, outdoor art project will keep children busy for hours, and it only requires a few simple ingredients. Have fun!

Materials:

1 Cup White Flour

2 4oz Bottles White Glue

5+ Cups White Foam Shaving Cream

Food Dye

3 1 Gallon Plastic Bags

2 Squirt Bottles

Directions:

  1. Pour 1 cup of flour into a 1 gallon plastic baggie.
  2. Next, mix both bottles of glue and 5 to 7 cups of shaving cream into the bag. (Tip: The more the shaving cream, the easier it is to squeeze out of the plastic bottles.)
  3. Knead all ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Final step, add food coloring! Cut the corner of the gallon bag and squeeze half of the gooey substance into 1 bag and the rest in another, this will divide your puffy paint. Then add 10 drops of food coloring and knead till the color is incorporated into the mixture.
  5. Cut the bottom corner of each bag and squeeze the mixture into squirt bottles. Then you are done!

Squeeze the foam paint onto the sidewalk, pavement and paper. It’s easily washed off with water and soap and does not dye your kids hands. Happy designing!
