Simple Cheerio Peanut Butter Bars

by Jenna Gleason

This no-bake, 3-ingredient treat is so simple and easy to make. Kids love them for a school snack or even as a dessert. You most likely have the ingredients in your pantry, so let’s get to it!

Ingredients:

¾ Cup Peanut Butter (Crunchy, Low Fat, Smooth)

½ Cup Honey

3 Cups Cheerios

Directions:

  1. Combine the peanut butter and honey in a pan on medium heat until the mixture simmers, approximately 3 minutes, stirring continuously.(Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave for another 20 seconds)
  1. Remove from heat and mix in your cheerios. Thoroughly and evenly coat all your cheerios.
  1. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper or plastic wrap. Pour and press the cheerio mixture into the pan firmly. Let it cool in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  1. Cut into small bars. Lift the parchment paper or plastic wrap and peel it off the cheerio bars.

These won't last long, enjoy!
