Turkey Rice Krispie Treats

This treat is so adorable for your Thanksgiving get togethers this year! These chocolate covered Turkey Rice Krispie Treats are simple and sweet. They make for the perfect Thanksgiving dessert, meal place card, or goodie bag. Both kids and adults alike will love them!

Ingredients:

Homemade/Store Bought Rice Krispie Treats

Milk Chocolate Chips

Marshmallows

Air Heads (Red and orange)

Black Edible Marker

Utensils:

Wax Paper

Baking Sheet

Popsicle sticks

Directions:

  1. Unwrap the rice krispie treats (if store bought).
  2. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  3. Poke your popsicle sticks through one side of the rice krispies, and set on the baking sheet.
  4. Cut out orange triangles and red snoods out of air heads, and white eyes out of marshmallows. Fill in back pupils with the black edible marker on the marshmallows.
  5. In a separate bowl, melt the 12 oz bag of milk chocolate chips (2 minutes in microwave).
  6. Dip your rice krispie treats in the melted chocolate; front and back. Place on the baking sheet.
  7. Place your marshmallow eyes, beaks and snoods on the chocolate covered rice Krispie treats, then place in the fridge to cool.
