Add a new spin to your campfire s’mores recipe with these pops. They are a simple and inexpensive snack for your winter campfire this year. Enjoy with the entire family!

Materials:

Pie Crust or Pastry Dough

Mini Marshmallows

Chocolate Bar

Egg

Popsicle Sticks

Optional:

Crushed Graham Cracker

Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Crushed Nuts

Ingredients:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Roll out your pastry dough or pie crust. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  3. On half of the pastry shapes, place 1 piece of the chocolate bar, and 3 mini marshmallows. Place a popsicle stick at the bottom of each piece.
  4. Place a pastry piece on top of those with chocolate and marshmallows.
  5. With a fork press and seal the edges of the pastry.
  6. Scramble an egg and brush on the mixture around the edges and the center.
  7. If using pastry dough, bake for 10-12 minutes. With pie crust, bake for 20-25 minutes. Or until they appear to be golden brown and ready to serve.

Tip #1: When adding graham crackers, roll the pastry in crushed graham crackers once sealed and coated, then brush egg over the edges one more time. This will add crunch to the s’mores pops!

Tip #2: If you're adding cinnamon, nutmeg or crushed nuts, simple add it to the pastry when adding the chocolate bar, and marshmallows.
