6. Keeping on the school bus theme, try this school bus paper plate craft found at Glued to My Crafts. Gather your supplies: a paper plate, yellow tissue paper, black cardstock, black scrapbook letter stickers, glue, scissors, and a stapler. Cut the paper plate in half. You can make two school buses! Cut a triangle out of the corner to give it the shape of a bus. Let your child practice his or her cutting skills by cutting the tissue paper into small squares. Squirt glue all over the plate and cover in tissue paper squares until the bus is completely covered. Let dry while your child cuts out the other pieces from the black card stock, like tires, windows, etc. Glue or staple the cardstock pieces onto the bus and have your child spell out school bus with the stickers. That’s it!
