Kids Activities: Ghost Hunting in the Dark

(A Non-Scary, Fun Halloween Activity)

To set up this ghost hunting adventure, put glow sticks inside clear plastic cups, draw ghost faces on the cups and cover with sheer/thin fabric. These small ghosts can be hidden along the ground, peeking out of shrubs.

Make bigger ghosts from balloons and tulle. You can also put glow sticks inside the balloons to make them extra bright. Hang these higher up but still within target range, such as low-hanging tree limbs.

Next, ask the children to pick their ghost hunting tools, give them flashlights, and watch them have a blast hunting down ghost targets.

This activity was a hit in my family. I hope yours enjoys it as well.

Wishing you a safe and happy Halloween!

After playing try these fun no-bake ghost cookies and these spider web cupcakes!
